Colin Richter
Class Taught: Beginner Standard
Colin has been dancing ballroom since Fall 2014. He started his ballroom career on the East Coast at the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering. Colin has since moved to the Midwest and is working for Epic. Outside of ballroom, some of his favorite activities are tennis, salsa dancing, skiing, and video/board games.

Lorenz Vargas
Classes Taught: Intermediate 1 Latin and Standard Inspired by the popular anime Welcome to the Ballroom, Lorenz is a native New Yorker who started ballroom dance in the fall of 2017 at George Washington University where he studied International Affairs with an Asian Security concentration and Japanese Language and Literature. He studied abroad in Tokyo, Japan for a year at Waseda University where he was an active and successful member of their DanceSport team. Lorenz currently works at Epic as a project manager. Outside of ballroom, his hobbies include running, weightlifting, martial arts, movies, the occasional video game, and lots of reading. |

Michael Busche
Classes Taught: Intermediate 2 Latin and Standard
Michael began dancing as a freshman in college on the Purdue University Latin & Ballroom dance team. In 2016 he moved west to pursue a PhD at the University of California-Berkeley and continued dancing on Berkeley's team. He's earned many national collegiate titles as well as state and national amateur titles in standard, latin, and smooth. He moved to Madison in 2021 and now works as postdoc at UW in the Genetics department.
