Spring 2026 Weekly Lessons

BBDT teaches several different types of ballroom dancing. Weekday lessons are taught by our instructors.
Below is the general schedule for the Fall 2025 semester. Check the calendar for detailed scheduling.

International Standard
Dances:  Waltz, Quickstep, Tango, Foxtrot

​Beginner Level: Tuesdays 8:00-9:00 PM
Guided Practice: Tuesdays 9:00-9:30 PM
Intermediate I: Mondays 8:00-9:00 PM
Intermediate II Following: Sundays 4:30-5:30 PM

International Latin
Dances:  Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba, Jive

Beginner Level: Thursdays 7:45-8:45 PM
Guided Practice: Thursdays 8:45-9:15 PM
Intermediate I: Thursdays 8:00-9:00 PM
Intermediate II: Mondays 9:15-10:15 PM

American Smooth
Dances: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz
Intermediate I: Mondays 9:15-10:15 PM

All lessons and open practice space are held at Kanopy Dance Studio. To unlock the door, you will need to enter a four-digit code on the keypad, which is distributed in the team's weekly e-mail. You can sign up for the e-mail by contacting us. Team members also monitor the entrance near the start of each lesson to help let people in.

**Even though BBDT does not offer formal instruction in American Rhythm or Latin Club Dances, several members on the team do know how to dance these styles and may be willing to teach them or give you additional resources. Once a semester we typically have a Beginner Rhythm lesson day outside of regular beginner lessons.
